Lake in east of Småland, located in the
Högsby municipality between Högsby and Nybro. Located 85 meters over sea level.
Species of fish: pike, perch, white bream, bream, burbot, rudd, tench, roach, eel and pike
perch. Nice fishing for big pike.
Allgunnen
fish and nature preservation area includes the lake Allgunnen and part of the lake
Bruddesjön and lake Kalven, together over 35000 acres. To help the fishermen find good
fishing spots 10 marked "risvasar" (a pile of brushwood/(spruce twigs) to
oxygenate the water) are placed on different places around the lake. They are marked with
floating plastic cans (May to September).
Fishing for crayfish is not allowed
Minimum size: Pike perch shorter than 400 mm must be released back to the lake.
Protected areas (fishing not allowed): The east part of lake Bruddesjön and
the south area of lake Kalven.

Road description:
From Högsby: Drive on road 34 in direction to Kalmar approx. 1 km, turn right at Staby
and drive in direction to Allgunnen-Aboda klint approx. 12 km.
